Fashion Favours Workshop

Calling all fashionistas and aspiring designers – the Fashion Favours workshop takes place in November and needs you to take part.

Recycled fashion
A unique fashion collection that has been created by volunteers, the workshop will see youngsters customising and creating their own clothing from recycled materials. Raising awareness of that fact that UK households throw away 900,000 items of clothing a year, the Fashion Favours workshop wants volunteers to make a difference by reassessing how we look at clothes, fashion and recycling.

Designer collection
With key pieces appearing in a fashion show in December as well as being showcased in Debenhams, volunteers will also get the kudos of saying they have worked under Ben de Lisi as the famous designer is in charge of the collection itself. All the garments will be auctioned off to raise funds for the HIV charity Body and Soul, and there will also be a selection of celebrity customised garments up for grabs too.
