Get ready for a full on festival of New Orleans music as the best musicians from The Big Easy head to London for a two day free event. Playing live sessions, a whole host of artists will be bringing the sound of Louisiana to the O2 Arena at the festival of New Orleans music, and anyone who is a fan of the Deep South style of music will be in for a real treat.

New Orleans in London
Coincinding with the New Orleans Saints NFL game again the San Diego Chargers at Wembley in October, the festival of New Orleans music is set to be the largest celebration of music from this region outside of America and the state of Louisiana.

Music and culture
Over 20 bands and artists are flooding the O2 and bringing the sound of New Orleans with them. The repuatation that New Orleans has as a party town will be recreated here in London, as the acts are sure to get you in the mood for dancing, drinking and grooving. Grab a few mates, get in the mood and party with the best in New Orleans music during the festival.

Mardis Gras fun
Artists due to play live during the festival are some of the very best of their kind. Playing against a background of Louisiana food demonstrations, the Mardis Gras Indians and a host of other authentic New Orleans attractions, you will feel as though you've stepped onto a plane and flown all the way out to America to experience the festival of New Orleans music.

Party with the Deep South
Dr John, Allen Toussaint, Kermit Ruffins, Marcia Ball, BeauSoleil, The Rebirth Brass Band, John Mooney and Buckwheat Zydeco will all be playing as part of the New Orleans music festival, giving you a chance to experience the best of Louisiana's music scene for yourself, without even leaving the country. Coming all the way from New Orleans direct, they will be certain to show you how to party Deep South style.

The festival of New Orleans music takes place at the O2 Arena on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October 2008 and is free to attend.
