For Christmas 2008, the displays will take their inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale, The Snow Queen, and this theme will be carried throughout the store on Festive Thursdays at Fortnum and Mason. The sumptuous setting is sure to create a buzzing atmosphere to help you get in the mood for Christmas.

Cocktail Masterclass
The Snow Queen theme is in full swing at the Cocktail Masterclass, just one of a series of events planned for Festive Thursdays at Fortnum and Mason. Learn how to make three seasonal cocktails after receiving a delicious Snow Queen Mint Special drink on arrival. Tickets cost £10.00 and booking is essential for this event in the store's 1707 Wine Bar.

Tips for a perfect Christmas
Those of you wanting to create a perfect Christmas will find great advice from the masters throughout the stores on Festive Thursdays. Fortnum and Mason experts will be on hand to demonstrate mulled wine making, Christmas table decorating, gift wrapping, and Christmas cookery. A choir will also be singing carols from 6pm, making Festive Thursdays at Fortnum and Mason a feast for all the senses.
