Have drank and eaten at Fifth Floor several times. The staff are always very friendly and the food is faultless. Fifth Floor is well worth the slightly high prices.

Back in 1998, a friend and I found ourselves
at the Fifth Floor. It was a miserable rainy day, Harvey Nichols was very crowded and my friend was cranky. I needed a drink! I found the Fifth Floor to be absolutely fabulous. The bartender gave me a menu to keep which I still look at from time to time. As soon as I win the lottery, I will be back to the Fifth Floor.

The Fifth Floor restaurant at Harvey Nichols is ideal. We all know that two hours of shopping in heels is better exercise than half an hour at the gym so taking a nurturing break in a haven of white tranquility cut with a buzz of conversation is top of the list. Do reserve a table and give yourself a break. There is never a hurry, always a beautiful flower arrangement and reliably splendid wine. The food's not bad either, in fact it's perfect for a simple but nourishing lunch. Fifth Floor serves mostly French favourites and is just what is needed when one's mind is engaged in matters retail or social. Take your time and don't go if you are in a hurry, savour the calm and the company.
