Head to the Films on Fridges London pop up cinema for the very best in sport themed film screenings and East London filmmaking talent.

Pop up cinema
With a season of classic movies, live performances and new work from innovative East London filmmakers on the programme, there's plenty to get excited about at the pop up cinema known as Films on Fridges. London has more than its fair share of outdoor screenings over the summer of 2011, but this is certainly one of the most unusual alfresco cinemas of the season.

Fridge Mountain
A playful homage to the 20ft Fridge Mountain that used to dominate the Hackney landscape before it was cleared to make way for the London 2012 Olympic site, the Films on Fridges London cinema is built using discarded fridges. In addition to this tribute to its post-industrial location, the pop up cinema is also looking forward to the Olympic Games by screening a series of athletic and sports-centric films.
