Fitball Class at Trafalgar Square

Take part in a mass workout at the fitball class at Trafalgar Square. There's space for 150 women at the free exercise class, which is being led by celebrity trainer Cat Dugdale.

Now that the weather is starting to get a bit milder and spring is underway, there are more and more opportunities to get outdoors and start getting more exercise. If you're already thinking about how best to tone up in time for summer, then ditch the gym for a day and head to the fitball class at Trafalgar Square instead as a budget friendly alternative.

Outdoors exercise class
Hosted by celebrity trainer Cat Dugdale, the fitball class at Trafalgar Square takes place amongst all the hustle and bustle of the iconic central London public space, and takes place to celebrate the start of the Vitality Show at Earls Court. Having previously trained Kiefer Sutherland and other high profile celebrities, Cat Dugdale is bound to bring some LA glamour and motivation to the fitness session.

Getting fit can sometimes leave you out of pocket, but the fitball class at Trafalgar Square aims to be kind to your bank balance by being completely free. Better yet, you will also be given a brightly coloured fitness ball and yoga mat at the start of the workout, which you can take home with you.

Charity donation
The special exercise class aims to be the largest outdoor fitball workout in the UK so far, with up to 150 women taking part. To celebrate the occasion, event organisers Simplyhealth are donating £15,000 to the Breast Cancer Campaign, the equivalent of £100 for every woman taking part.

The fitball class at Trafalgar Square takes place from 8am - 9am, Thursday 18th March 2010. Admission is free but you must register in advance by emailing fitball@pegasuspr.co.uk.
