Flare Path in the West End
On the Lincolnshire coast a tangle of lovers collide at the Flacon Hotel near the RAF bomber command airbase. Glamorous actress Patricia (played by Sienna Miller) reunites with her husband Teddy, a young RAF bomber pilot. But their relationship is damaged when Hollywood stud Peter - Patricia’s ex lover – turns up. Those holding Flare Path tickets will watch the story unfold as Patricia battles with her torn emotions. An urgent bombing mission is ordered over Germany and the dreaded night sky takes hold. The twist of relationships and battles for love is as unpredictable as the conflicts in the skies.

Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller, well known for her many film credits including Stardust, Layer Cake and Factory Girl, was last on the stage in Broadway playing the title role in After Miss Julie. She trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York and last graced London’s West End six years ago playing ‘Celia’ in Shakespeare’s As You Like It in 2005. She is looking forward to returning to the West End playing the stiff upper lipped character in Flare Path.

Trevor Nunn
Trevor Nunn was not only the Chief Executive of the Royal Shakespeare Company but also the longest-serving Artistic Director; 1968 to 1986. He directed most of the RSC productions as well as Les Misérables in his time with the company. Playwright Terrence Rattigan based Flare Path on his own experiences when he was a tail gunner in the RAF during the Second World War. One of England’s most popular 20th century dramatists, this 2011 production of Flare Path marks the centenary of his birth.

Flare Path tickets are now available for performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from Friday 4th March - Saturday 4th July 2011. To purchase tickets please click the Buy Tickets button or call 0844 847 1707.
