Taking the lead roles in Flashdance the Musical are none other than Matt Willis and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, a combination that should ensure Flashdance tickets are in steep demand. Flashdance The Musical follows much the same story as the hugely popular 1983 film of the same name, telling the engrossing tale of 18 year old Alex as she strives to hold onto her dream against all the odds, fighting to be awarded a place at the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy. It’s a heart-warming story which is now brought onto the Shaftesbury Theatre stage complete with a stunning score, so expect Flashdance The Musical to be one of the biggest theatre events of 2010.
