Enjoy a season of film screenings on the waterways of East London aboard the Floating Cinema. London film fans can make the most of a series of film inspired events when the unique cinema navigates its way around the five boroughs that are set to host the Olympic Games in 2012.

Floating structure
Presented by Portavilion, the same arts organisation that created the pop up pavilions in London parks over the summer of 2010, the Floating Cinema London project takes place on the waterways of Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest and Greenwich. Expect a combination of intimate on-board film screenings and larger scale outdoor film events over the summer of 2011.
