Cookery demonstrations and wine tastings are the perfect way to spend the weekend, and with the expret guidance of Tom Aikens and his head sommelier, you can be sure to come home with fantastic cooking skills and know the best wines for every occassion.

The food and wine weekends at Tom Aikens allow guests to enjoy either the wine tasting in the morning and the cookery demonstrations in the afternoon, or spend all day in the company of both men. Kicking off at in the morning with the wine tastings, wine sommelier Geraoid Devaney will take you through a selection of wines from the weekend's theme, explaining a little about the grape variety and the kinds of foods that go perfectly with them.

In the afternoon all the action moves to the kitchen, where Tom Aikens will show you all the tips and tricks of a professional chef. Looking at a whole variety of different foods, this is the perfect opportunity to indulge your foodie loving nature and learn how to create a wealth of stunning meals.

Saturday 16th February - Bordeaux and Roasts

Saturday 15th March - Australia. No cookery demonstration will take place this weekend.

Saturday 19th April - Southern France and Classic France

Saturday 17th May - Loire and Vegetarian

Saturday 21st June - South America and Stocks and Sauces

Saturday 19th July - Champagne and Fish

Saturday 20th September - Spain and Pasta

Saturday 18th October - Italy and Braising

Saturday 15th November - Burgundy and Canapes

Saturday 13th December - Winter Warmers and Christmas Lunch

For those who like a drop of plonk to accompany their food, a wine tasting with the award winning Sommelier Gearoid Devaney takes place before the Tom AIkens cookery demonstration, from 11am. Starting at 1pm, you can observe Tom as he shows you the best way to prepare and cook food in his own restaurant kitchen.

The wine tasting is priced at £60.00 per person, the cookery demonstration at £120.00 per person and both packages are available at £165.00 per person.
