Celebrating all things culinary, the week long food festival at Old Spitalfields Market features a demonstration kitchen, free food tastings and a series of special offers at nearby bars and restaurants. Expect to find both locally produced food and drink at the festival, as well as international dishes.

Chefs from nearby restaurants will be put through their paces in the demonstration kitchen at the food festival at Old Spitalfields Market and cooking some of their best known dishes. See cooks from Le Bouchon Breton, wagamama, The Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Cafe Caribbean and Androuet share their tips on how to create the perfect summer meal.

And if all the freshly prepared dishes at the food festival at Old Spitalfields Market has stimulated your appetite, you can take advantage of the free tasting samples available. Restaurants and bars around the Old Spitalfields Market area will also be putting on special menu offers for the duration of the festival.

The food festival at Old Spitalfields Market runs from Monday 19th July - Friday 23rd July 2010. Admission is free. The Flavours food court can be found at the eastern end of the market, close to wagamamas and The Luxe.

The cookery demonstrations take place at 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday 21st July and Friday 23rd July 2010.
