Get ready for some free for all food slinging at the charity food fight at Future Gallery. If you've felt a little inhibited before by the hushed reverence usually found in your common or garden art gallery and want the chance to let loose during the Christmas party season, then this might just be the event for you.

X-mess
Taking place in support of Age UK, the food fight at Future Gallery gives you the chance to have a rather unusual knees up while raising funds for a very deserving cause. The evening starts in a rather genteel manner with drinks in a spotless hall decorated with two long dining tables and a cupcake adorned Christmas tree, although things are bound to get progressively raucous as the night wears on.

Gastronomic grenades
When the start of the food fight at Future Gallery is announced you'd better be ready to start slinging food with the rest of them if you don't want to be the only one with egg and all manner of sticky, slimy foodstuffs on your face. Take you pick from custard, brussels sprouts, mashed potato and all manner of edible missiles, and start lobbing.

Go into battle
The battle starts at 8pm for the charity food fight at Future Gallery, so keep an eye on your most dastardly foes so you know where to throw your grub at 20 hundred hours. And come the end of the night, you might be grateful for a towel and a change of clothes before the journey home...
