Foot Locker Urban Superstar

Head to Oxford Street this weekend for the Foot Locker Urban Superstar competition. With auditions taking place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July, the search for the next Urban Superstar will see hundreds of people pitching their talent to the judges and doing their best to get through to the next round.

Whether you want to audition on your own or as part of a group, the Foot Locker Urban Superstar competition caters for all comers. You can perform your song with your crew or by yourself in the special private recording studio, or you can blast the crowd and the judges with your talent out on the shopfloor.

Hosted by the Urban Music Awards and Foot Locker, the Urban Superstar competition is on a mission to find the next great star in urban music and London is the place to start. Held over three days in the store that is synonymous with cool street fashion and urban music, there is no better place to pitch your talents and be in with a chance to be crowned an Urban Superstar.

Anyone who get through the auditions could end up being part of the televised auditions which are due to be broadcast on Flava TV from the 26th July. And to top it all, the most talented, and the most entertaining of the instore Foot Locker Urban Superstar auditions will be shown exclusively on the Foot Locker website, so you could end up being famous even if you don't win.

The final winner of the Foot Locker Urban Superstar challenge will be announced at the Urban Music Awards ceremony on 1st November 2008.
