Art lovers can get their hands on some free Richard Long prints on the London Underground on Tuesday 2nd June and Wednesday 3rd June 2009, to mark the opening of a new exhibition of the artist's work at Tate Britain.

60,000 free prints by artist Richard Long will be up for grabs on the London Underground, at Stanmore, Wembley Park, Finchley Road, Baker Street, Green Park, Westminster, London Bridge, Canada Water, Canary Wharf, and Stratford Tube stations on the Jubilee Line. The free Richard Long prints will be handed out to commuters from 7am - 12pm on both days.

The free Richard Long prints hand out coincides with the launch of a new exhibition titled Heaven and Earth at Tate Britain, which explores Long's representation of landscapes and use of natural materials in his work. Featuring photography, sculptures, and much more, the exhibition opens on Wednesday 3rd June and continues until September 2009. One Thing Leads to Another
The free print giveaway is the result of a collaboration between Art on the Underground and Tate Britain. The specially commissioned work is titled One Thing Leads to Another, and documents an eight mile walk Long took across the Scottish Cairngorm Mountains in 2009.

The free Richard Long prints will be given away to Tube commuters from 7am - 12pm, Tuesday 2nd June - Wednesday 3rd June 2009, on the following stations on the Jubilee Line:

Green Park
Westminster
London Bridge
Canada Water
Canary Wharf
Stratford
