Get down to East London for the free Rough Trade gigs taking place throughout the summer, as the iconic record shop celebrates the first birthday of its East London store in suitable style. The thirty free Rough Trade gigs will see some of the best live acts take to the store’s stage, rocking out for thirty consecutive days and ensuring the birthday celebrations go off with a bang.
Kicking off on Monday 21st July, the free Rough Trade gigs boast the likes of Dans le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, the Portico Quartet, the 5 O’Clock Heroes and even a very special appearance from legendary rockers, the Stereo MC’s. And what makes it even better? Well, the free Rough Trade gigs are – you guessed it – free, so there really is no excuse not to head down to Brick Lane prepare to party.
Rough Trade enjoys a justified reputation as being one of the very best destinations for music fans looking for only the finest tunes, and the thirty free gigs will show exactly why. They’ll showcase some of the freshest bands on the scene, ensuring that East End lugholes will be blessed with some of the best live music they’ve heard in years. For thirty days on the trot.
