The Forbidden Planet Megastore is hosting a special book signing sure to appeal to comic and graphic novel fans, with the added bonus that there's also the chance to win free tickets to Kick-Ass. Premiere events might be a regular occurrence in Leicester Square but it's not often that you can actually get into the cinema and be amongst the first to see the film, so this really is a rare treat for film fans.

Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. will be at the Forbidden Planet Megastore to sign copies of the graphic novel Kick-Ass as well as the companion book to the new film. While meeting the writer and illustrator team behind the Icon graphic novel will be more than good enough for many of their fans, the first 75 customers to the event will also be given two free tickets to the Kick-Ass premiere, so they can be amongst the first to see the film in the UK.

The story
As fans of the graphic novel will already know, Kick-Ass follows the story of teenager Dave Lizewski, a comic book fan who decides to become a real life superhero despite having no special skills or unusual powers. If you're lucky enough to be given two free tickets to the Kick-Ass premiere, you can head to Leicester Square the day after book signing and see how the film makers have gone about transferring the book onto the big screen.
