Frieze Art Fair London returns for 2008 in a huge showcase of art and design in the picturesque setting of Regents Park. Art fans can explore a world of art in London, featuring over 150 contemporary galleries.

A world of art
Regents Park will be bristling with a massive collection of works from hundreds of international artists, including a number of specially commissioned pieces. Paintings, sketches, prints, sculpture, photography and more will be on display throughout the event, hailing from an acclaimed line up of galleries.

A Sculpture Park will form part of the Frieze Art Fair London exhibition this year, showcasing 11 exclusive sculptures in Regents Park English Garden. Open to the general public as well as Frieze Art Fair ticket holders, the Frieze Sculpture Park is a unique addition to this year’s exhibition. There really were some stunning sculptures at last year's show, including those from Mrc Bjil, Gary Webb, Bjoern Dahlem and Claes Oldenburgh. If sculptures are your thing, you can't afford to miss out on this year's event, where there will be even more exciting and innovative sculpture.

New for 2008
Held annually in Regents Park, the Frieze Art Fair London is a definite highlight on London’s art and design calendar. Presented by Frieze magazine, the event attracts an impressive range of galleries from across the globe, as well as a number of experts who hold special talks during the event. One of the artist speakers in 2008 will be none other than Yoko Ono, who will be sharing her thoughts on performance art and engagement with the audience on Friday 17th October.

An artistic explosion
Whether an aficionado or newcomer to the world of art, the Frieze Art Fair offers plenty to catch your interest. Expect an eclectic, intriguing collection of works from a line up of artists from all over the world at a vibrant, landmark London art event. There really are some real highlights this year, including a the Freize Fillm 2008, which is entitled Road Movie and is based on the kind of clips shown on YouTube. Film and art fans alike are sure to find this one a real treat of Frieze Art Fair 2008. So head down to Frieze Art Fair to see what all the fuss is about.

The Frieze Art Fair London exhibition takes place near the playground at Regents Park from Thursday 16th October – Sunday 19th October 2008. Opening times are 11am - 7pm Thursday to Saturday and 11am - 6pm on the Sunday. Nearest tube: Regents Park.

Advance tickets are £15.00 eahc, £10.00 concessions, and £40.00 for the full weekend. Entrance on the gate is £20.00 to £25.00, £15.00 concessions, adn £60.00 for the full weekend.
