The Frijj Film Festival brings free films to London during August and September, as a whole load of classic flicks are played on the silver screens across town. From Pulp Fiction to Lord of the Rings, there is something for all film lovers in the 2008 Frijj Film Festival London event.

With 26 of the best classic films and a special red carpet cinema event, the Frijj Film Festival has it all. Jaws, Snatch, The Exorcist and Gladiator are just some of the films you can see for free. Forget Portobello, forget Cannes, and forget the London Film Festival itself, Frijj guarantees you 26 of the hottest films ever made, on the big screen, and yours to watch for free.

Lord of the Rings night
Taking place during the second week of the film festival is the Lord of the Rings all nighter. Showing all three of Peter Jackson's masterpieces in one night, this is your chance to see the tale of Frodo and the Fellowship of the Ring, all the way from the Shire to Mordor. Showing at various London cinemas every Thursday until 18th September, this unusual film festival is also your opportunity to shine. Get your own disaster movies uploaded onto the Frijj Festival website and you could be in with a chance of having premiered during the festival run. Get inspired by the Frijj 50s style disaster movie spoofs online, and then create your own Frijj-tastic flick.
