Celebrating and showcasing the best art graduates of 2009, the Future Map 09 exhibition takes place at 20 Hoxton Square Projects this year. Just 24 artists who have graduated from the University of Arts London get to showcase their work, giving them unrivaled attention from the media and the art world in London.

Future Map 09
This year 9,152 students graduated from the University of Arts London's six different colleges alone, making the capital one of the most prolific producers of artists in the world. The Future Map 09 exhibition is the 12th of its kind, and continues to bolster the reputation that London is at the centre of emerging artistic talent.

Artists of the future
Showcasing the creme de la creme of the graduate artists in London, the exhibition continually provides an overview of the next generation of artists and designers whose name you can come to expect to hear again, and again. An extremely important stepping stone for those just leaving the creative world of university, the Future Map 09 exhibition will provide that all important next career step for contemporary artists and designers, as they are introduced to gallery owners, curators and collectors.

On show
You can expect to see fine art, fashion, design and communications pieces all on show at the exhibition at 20 Hoxton Square Projects. Picked by an expert panel of various professionals from within the art world, the exhibitors at Future Map 09 come from both the graduate and post graduate final shows. Curated from across a whole host of discplines, you can be sure that the exhibition brings you the best and most talented work out there.

Future Map Prize
One new addition to the Future Map process this year is the inclusion of a prize given to support one graduate as they leave the university and head out to work on their own. The 176/Zabludowicz Colletion Future Map Prize winner will recieve £3,000 and the chance to make an edition of their work for the 176/Zabludowicz Collection.

The Future Map 09 exhibition takes place from Thursday 26th November - Wednesday 23rd December 2009.
