Enjoy an elegant afternoon tea with a refreshing twist with the G and Tea at The Langham, which features delicate teas, sandwiches and cakes specially selected to complement the classic gin and tonic.
The bespoke afternoon tea menu has been specially designed to complement and enhance the premium London distilled gin, Beefeater 24, and G and Tea at The Langham includes a refreshing glass of gin and tonic as an ideal pick me up on a winter's day. The other treats on the menu have been carefully selected to bring out the citrus, juniper and angelica tones of Beefeater 24.
Tea and finger sandwiches
As well as the gin and tonic, the G and Tea at The Langham also features a bespoke tea blended from Chinese green and rate Japanese Sencha teas, which can be taken with or without milk. Delicate finger sandwished with fillings such as smoked Scottish organic salmon with horseradish and watercress, and Casle of Mey beed with Savora mustard as also available to sample.
If your favourite part of any afternoon tea is the cakes, then G and Tea at The Langham will not disappoint. Choose from a selection of home baked scones with lashings of Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and a mixture of miniature French partries and English classics such as mille feuille, chocolate gateau, Victoria sandwich and Bakewell tart.
G and Tea at The Langham is available daily from Friday 1st January - Friday 30th April 2010. The afternoon tea is priced at £39.00 per person. It is recommended that you make a reservation; call 0207 965 0195 for more information.
