Continuing the spirit of Oktoberfest right up to Bonfire Night, the German Beer Festival at Alexandra Palace is a massive celebration of all things hop related.

Raise a toast
Taking place in the Great Hall of the iconic venue, the German Beer Festival at Alexandra Palace features frauleins in authentic Bavarian constume serving a wide variety of German beers and food to visitors. There is also an ale festival in the West Hall, meaning that those with a taste for speciality brews can sample a broad range of different drinks.

Family fun
Families with kids are more than catered for at the festival, with a family fun area, a disco area for children, special skating sessions on the ice rink and funfairs in the park. A live Oompah band will be playing some Oktoberfest classics, and Chas from Chas and Dave fame is also adding to the carnival atmosphere at the German Beer Festival at Alexandra Palace by playing live with his band.

Fireworks
Alongside the German Beer Festival, Alexandra Palace is also hosting its very own fireworks display, with an amazing pyrotechnics display for Guy Fawkes night 2009. Click on the link below for more information on the Bonfire Night show.

The German Beer Festival at Alexandra Palace runs from 4.30pm - 11pm, Saturday 7th November 2009. The fireworks display starts at 7.30pm in the park. The suggested donation for admission is £4.00 for adults and £2.00 for children under 16.
