Gilgamesh bar looks stunning , I have been there many times usually when I want to treat someone new to London ,
The main thing that makes it stunning is the interior and atmosphere which recently they have managed to destroy a little by placing a TV and showing football in the evenings which looks very strange and out of place but I'm sure it pleases many football lovers .

the staff are very polite but seem to have little training in terms of bar and catering and they seem to have a massive turn over which is expected from busy big and venues.

for example I went for tea with my mum yesterday, the tea as brought by a lovely lady , the tea pot was a chipped and didn't pour very well, so as she as serving she poured a bit on the table , she looked at it smiled and left without attempting to wipe it or apologise.

it didn't matter but they way the place is set up you do expect more than simple smile and politeness.

the other time we went with my uncle last year which was a busy friday night there was a waitress trying to pass through the crowd and one of the staff members physically pushed my uncle out of the way from the back without saying anything or apologising which was very strange .

so I guess it is definitely worth visiting to experience the interior and environment.I find that it is well worth it to have tea but haven't tried other drinks but they seem to have a very interesting selection of drinks that you usually wouldn't find in most bars but don't expect much from the service as I think the main thing they have been taught is smile and you will get away with murder.
