Beat the winter blues at the feel good Gloom Aid London event, which features stand up comedy sets and live music to spread the cheer on the gloomiest day of the year.

Gloom Aid 2010
Christmas is well and truly over, the weather is really starting to grind you down and you've still got ages to go before payday; yes, Monday 18th January might just be the most gloomiest day of the year. If you want to throw off the winter blues and bring a smile back to your face, then shelve your night of moping about alone indoors and head to the Gloom Aid London event instead for a session of music, comedy and all round entertainment.

Turn that frown upside down
So what if your diet's gone out the window, your credit card bill's still unpaid and you haven't seen daylight outside of working hours for months? Cheer up at the Gloom Aid London event with some laugh inducing sets from John Hegley, Robin Ince, Angelos Epithemious and Danny Robins, aka DJ Danny.

Live music
Organised by London based duo Len and Cliff, also known as Feeling Gloomy, the Gloom Aid London event also features live music sets from Frisky and Mannish, who have previously taken the Edinburgh Festival by storm. Mark Morriss of The Bluetones is also taking to the stage to perform an exclusive acoustic set.

Solace for the soul
Birdwatcher extraordinaire Alex Horne is also joining the line up at the O2 Academy Islington to boost the mood of the audience, so there's no excuse not to leave at the end of the night without feeling just a little bit happier. There's a special film screening by Misery Bear too, and all of the night's proceedings will be overseen by compere Mark Watson.

The Gloom Aid London event takes place from 7pm, Monday 18th January 2010. Tickets cost £12.00. For more information and to book tickets for this event, click on the Buy Tickets button.
