Learn how to fly this summer at the Gorilla Circus flying trapeze classes, where you can learn a simple circus trick and then show off your newly gained acrobatic skills.
Join the big top
Taking place in Regent's Park over the summer, the Gorilla Circus flying trapeze classes are open to everyone over the age of eight. Expect to see kids, teenagers and adults honing their acrobatic prowess and acting out fantasies about running away to join the circus at these workshops.
Two hour workshop
Each one of the Gorilla Circus flying trapeze classes last for two hours, and start with a warm up and coaching on a simple trick to be learnt on a low bar. Towards the end of the class, students attempt to complete the trick on the flying trapeze with a catcher on a separate swinging bar.
Summer fun
Most of the Gorilla Circus flying trapeze classes are run on a one-off basis, making them ideal for a day out for the family over the school summer holidays. However, if you or your kids are crying out for more aerial fun, you can attend more classes to learn even more advanced tricks, such as the four week course.
The Gorilla Circus flying trapeze classes take place at the northern edge of the Outer Circle at Regents Park from April - Sunday 9th September 2012. There are 10 spaces available in each class.
