Great British Beer Festival

When

2nd August - 6th August 2011

Where

Earls Court

The Great British Beer Festival is being held at Earls Court for 2011 in a huge showcase of beers and ales in London. There will be pints aplenty and more than enough to quench your thirst this summer, with varieties from all over the world. Cheers!

The Biggest Pub in the World
Also known as The Biggest Pub in the World, the Great British Beer Festival features a wide selection of beers, ciders, perries, ales and lagers from the UK and abroad. Visitors can sample all manner of beverages in a festive, bubbly atmosphere. Beer fans will be out in force to try something new or rediscover an old favourite at one of the biggest events of its kind in the world, where over 300,000 pints are expected to be pulled.

A learning experience for beer drinkers
A series of tutored tastings are taking place at the festival, giving you the chance to get some expert guidance on a selection of beers. Enthusiasts can find out about distinguishing a good German beer, endangered species of beer and more, in a relaxed, informative setting.

More than beer
You won't have to rely on the booze to keep you entertained as the Great British Beer Festival has a line up of live acts who will be taking to the stage throughout the event. Highlights of the festival include live music from a series of bands, as well as plenty of entertainment and activities for kids, including children's entertainers, computer games, toys and crafts.

Say cheers to Hat Day
Introduced at the Great British Beer Festival 2005, Hat Day is a unique addition to events inviting visitors to don a hat for one day of the festival. The Great British Beer Festival Hat Day is when crowds of beer lovers will be sporting hats of all shapes and sizes. A perfect look to go with a pint. Free hats will be available at the festival and a special competition will also be taking place for the best hat of the day.

The Great British Beer Festival takes place at Earls Court from Tuesday 2nd August - Saturday 6th August 2011. Opening times are 5pm - 10.30pm Tuesday, 12pm - 10.30pm Wednesday - Friday, and 11am - 7pm Saturday.

Advance day tickets are £8.00, or £6.00 for CAMRA members. Tickets are also available at the door priced £8.00 - £10.00. To purchase tickets for this event, call 0844 412 4640.
