Greenford Carnival

A great day out for all the family, the Greenford Carnival kick starts the Ealing Summer Festival proceedings with live music, dance shows, sports fun and a special area for kids. Spread out over four separate areas, the Greenford Carnival is set to be a fantastic day out for all.

Bringing Ravenor Park to life with a festive atmosphere, vibrant acts and plenty of live performances that will get you in the carnival mood, the Greenford Carnival day brings you the best in community entertainment.

Take your pick from the likes of the talented musician David Mensa or the Oddfellas band who play a combination of British and American music on the most unlikely of instruments, including spoons. Also hitting the music and dance stage at the Greenford Carnival will be Uke n Boogie, a vocal and ukulele band playing classic pieces om their unusual instruments, and entertaining the crowds with their amazing dances, will be the Irish dance group and students of Greenford's Pinnacle Performing Arts.

Several exciting workshops will keep the kids entertained all day, with chances to get to grips with the likes of magic, arts and crafts, and circus skills. They can also get a henna tattoo, or go for some face painting as well. Those with very little children or babies will be able to chill out in the relaxation area, which has a soft play area and the chance for a sit down with a nice cup of tea.

Plenty of sporting activities, games, market stalls and traditonal funfair rides make up the rest of the entertainment at the Greenford Carnival, along with a birds of prey show, and the fantastic Spider Mountain activity challenge.
