The Greenwich Comedy Festival boasts top names from the world of comedy and a range of stand up gigs and special events to get you chortling away. With the likes of well established stars such as Tim Minchin, Arthur Smith, Jarred Christmas, Phil Jupitus and Rich Hall on the programme as well as quirky events like a Silent Disco, there should be plenty to put a smile on your face at the 2011 festival.
Comic legends
A whole host of television comics and stand up comedy veterans are taking over Greenwich during the Greenwich Comedy Festival, including Milton Jones, Shappi Khorsandi, Frisky and Mannish, Omid Djalili and Adam Buxton. Alongside the headline acts, other firm favourites to appear at Old Royal Naval College's Big Top include Abandoman and Holly Walsh.
Improv show
Another highlight event of the Greenwich Comedy Festival is bound to be the Improv Show starring Phil Jupitus and friends. The Never Mind the Buzzcocks team captain will be creating a comedy show on the spot using suggestions from the audience.
