Mouse and The Gruffalo
The Gruffalo tell the story of Mouse, who embarks on a journey through the dark wood in search of hazelnuts and ends up meeting a host of characters, such as the singing fox, the Mexican snake and other scary creatures. Mouse scares them all off by telling a tall tale of a scary, imposing imaginary friend, The Gruffalo, enabling him to get himself out of many a sticky situation. However, the monster he describes turns out to be very real indeed…

Great for kids
The Gruffalo is primarily aimed at children between three and ten years old and is a great way to introduce your kids to the theatre, and probably get them hooked for life. There’s audience participation so they won’t get restless, and the show lasts for a manageable 50 minutes, ensuring that this tale of the small prevailing over the large is easily digested by smaller minds.

The Gruffalo is produced by acclaimed company Tall Stories, who specialise in producing old and new stories in an accessible way for youngsters.
