Half Term at Museum of Childhood

There is plenty to get excited about this half term at Museum of Childhood as kids have arts and crafts exhibitions to keep them entertained. As well as all the special interactive events and the permanent displays to inspire kids, there's the Magic Worlds exhibition to keep the little ones entertained too.

Inspired by the Magic Worlds exhibition, the events for Half Term at Museum of Childhood give kids the chance to enjoy an enchanting week of crafts, treasure hunts and storytelling. Enjoy a dramatic retelling of the Rumpelstiltskin story, make a goblin handpuppet and go on a mystery trail around the museum to find michief makers. As well as all the drop in activities, there's also the chance to book a place on the free Wordburst literacy workshop, where children aged 5 - 11 can take part in drama games, scenery painting and costume design.

Admission to the museum is free. The events for half term at Museum of Childhood run from Monday 13th February - Friday 17th February 2012.

The free drop in Fairytale Fiends sessions take place from 11am - 4pm daily.

The Wordburst workshop runs from 11am - 3pm each day of half term. Admission is free, but spaces must be booked in advance. For more information, call 020 8983 5205 or click on the link below.
