This was by far the biggest RIP OFF i have ever seen. Daylight robbery of a young child's fantasy to see Father Christmas.

I am in total disbelief by what you receive for £45.Nothing.

We managed to get an early morning slot for breakfast with Father Christmas who was late with 'his reindeer owing to the snow'. This was totally understandable. After which when he did arrive he merely sat down on a chair behind my 3.5 yrs old son not saying very much at all?

There was another couple with their two children who were thoroughly being entertained by the elves and Father Christmas. I couldnt work out if this was because they had paid more than us? (as in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the Rich Father and
Son duo had walked in).

We were treated very differently indeed.

The breakfast? For £45?

I could have fed everyone in the room on that budget!

It was so poor. A small muffin, a tiny portion of beans, a sausage and a miserly piece of bread (NOT TOAST) cut out in the shape of a tree. Not only was it not fresh but the whole diaster appeared to make airplane food actually look really nice and attractive!?

It was disgusting!!

What infuriated me more was that I was told by TWO different people on the telephone when booking was that we would have the £45 reedeemable versus toys in the store.

In fact they not only lied but what you did receive was a book, felt tip pens, the smallest teddy i wouldnt even pay good money for and a lollipop.To top it off you then paid an additional £15-20 for photos.

All in all it cost us over £100 for probably the worst experience to date with any Father Christmas. You would naturally associate Hamley's with being a child's dream come true, when what you received was a nightmare from start to finish with absolutely no soul or meaning in a store as highly regarded as this.

I would much rather (having spoken to several other friends with their children) have gone to Harrods for free and received a book!

I don't care how old you are - this place is a treat.
