Hampton Court Fireworks Display

The Hampton Court fireworks display is new for 2008, and sure to be a fantastic night out for everyone who loves to see the sky lit up with colourful displays. With a fantastic historical backdrop of Hampton Court Palace, the Hampton Court fireworks display is the ideal start to the fireworks season.

Mixing good old fashioned rockets and bangers with the more contemporary lasers, the Hampton Court fireworks display promises to be a truly spectacular affair. Filling the night sky around the East front of this well loved and beautiful royal palace, kids and family alike will be spellbound by the illuminations on the night.

Held every year around the 5th November, Bonfire Night is a traditional that stems back many years to the burning on the stake of Guy Fawkes for his part in the Gunpowder Plot. One of the original terrorists, Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up the House of Parliament with James I in them, but was caught and executed as a lesson to other potential plotters in 17th century England. Bringing a little of that historical tradition alive for the autumn, the Hampton Court fireworks display will commemorate the event with a fantastic night of fireworks, music and lights.

The event is in aid of the Historic Royal Palaces, The Hobson Charity, and The Gosling Foundation.

The Hampton Court fireworks display takes place on Saturday 1st November 2008 and tickets are £5.00 for adults, £2.50 for kids, and free for under 5s. Booking in advance is necessary, and for more information phone 0844 482 7795. The gates open at 6.30pm.
