Nature at its best
Located on Hamstead Heath, Highgate Pond is a popular destination for swimmers looking for a different experience. A regular swimming pool is packed to the brim with chlorine and other chemicals, but the water in Highgate Pond is completely untouched. This, coupled with the fresh outdoor air adds a different dimension to a special swimming event.

A pond for everybody
Although Highgate Pond is for men only, the nearby Kenwood Pond is for women, and Hampstead Pond caters for both genders, so there is a pond for everybody.

Highgate Pond is open daily from 7am and closes before sunset. Children under 8 are not allowed, and under 16s accompanied by an adult will need to pass a swimming test. Admission is £2.00, or £1.00 for concessions.
