Celebrate LGBT Month with the House of Homosexual Culture at Southbank Centre. A series of events to explore gay and lesbian history and culture, the House of Homosexual Culture season includes talks, live performances and more.

House of Homosexual Culture at Southbank Centre
With a season that includes special appearances by gay icons, informed debates and live performances, the House of Homosexual Culture at Southbank Centre looks set to be an engaging and essential contribution to the 2010 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Month. Events include an evening with author Rupert Smith and a timely discussion gay politics ahead of the forthcoming general election.

Rupert Smith
Bound to be one of the highlights of the House of Homosexual Culture at the Southbank Centre is a special appearance by Rupert Smith on Thursday 11th February 2010. Smith will talk about the writing of his novel Man's World, which spans 50 years of gay life in London. This events starts at 7.45pm and costs £7.50 to attend.

Election Queeries
A timely debate on the serious issues of interest to gay and lesbian voters ahead of the general election, Election Queeries asks which political party should get the gay vote. As well as all the political debate and discussions, there are also live performances at the event. Election Queeries begins at £7.45pm on Thursday 4th March, and tickets for the event cost £7.50.
