Hula Hooping at The Ebury

Shape up for 2010 with the help of some hula hooping at The Ebury, where a series of classes are being held for those determined to stick to their get fit new year's resolutions.

London craze
One of the latest crazes to sweep the city, hula hooping is a fun way to tone your core muscles and burn off some of the excess pounds piled on over the Christmas period. The hula hooping at The Ebury classes last for an hour and have been designed to exercise 30 core muscles, so you're bound to get a thorough workout.

Retro workout
If running on the gym treadmill bores you to tears and you want a more interesting way to get fit in January, then reliving your childhood with a spot of hula hooping at The Ebury might be just the thing for you. Licensed hula hoop teacher Diana Deffries is leading the classes, which involves moving your hips in time to music to work on your balance and coordination.

Healthy menu
As well at the sessions of hula hooping at The Ebury, the Chelsea brasserie is also introducing a healthy menu for those counting the calories in January. The special Healthy Choice menu features delicious dishes such as grilled haunch of venison with zesty curly kale, new potatoes and cranberry jus, and papillote of lemon sole with Swiss chard, clams and lemon grass.

Mains on the Healthy Choice menu have an average count of 180 calories each. As a special offer, if you're taking part in the hula hoop classes you can get a 25 percent discount off the a la carte and Healthy Choice menus if you book a table for after the workout.

The hula hooping at The Ebury sessions take place from 6.30pm - 7.30pm, on Monday 11th January, Monday 18th January, and Monday 8th February 2010. The classes cost £15.00 per person.
