This spa and its facials really are fabulous. I am a regular client, living just round the corner in Ladbroke Grove the location is convenient so I often pop in before an important event.
One of my favourite facials is the “Japanese Facial Lifting”, which involves a white clay mask to begin with, followed by a sequence of Japanese acupressure, reflexology and lymphatic drainage and then finally a rosehip mask.
This facial is brilliant to anyone wanting to boost or enhance their skin before an important event, as its gentle and leaves the skin feeling refreshed and plumped up. Highly recommended!
I visited this spa last week for a colonic irrigation, or a "colonic Hydrotherapy" as its called at the spa (much more user friendly sounding!). This was my first ever colonic and I was nervous to say the least! But after hearing about the endless benefits this procedure entails (brighter skin, weight loss, better digestion. Etc) I decided to bite the bullet and just go for it. I was instantly put at ease by the staff (i think they could sense how nervous I was) they explained the procedure, (for those of you who don’t know about the horrors of this procedure it involves warm purified water being gently introduced into the colon (large intestine) through a small tube in the back passage. And u can guess the rest) Sounds horrific. But I was surprisingly comfortable throughout the procedure! I instantly felt a stone lighter afterwards! I walked out from the spa feeling like a fresh new me! Cleansed and revitalized! I would highly recommend this treatment for anyone looking to give their new years diet a boost after a heavy Xmas period! Your body will definitely thank you for it!
I was delighted after receiving a voucher for Hydro Healing for Xmas this yr. After the recent treacherous weather my skin needed a bit of TLC. So i promptly booked myself in for the "Hydrozyme 'illuminating' Facial". Having sensitive skin i usually steer clear of facials, as before i have had experiences where i have come out of the beauty salon with my face looking an odd shade of red. Luckily at Hydrohealing the friendly staff made me feel relaxed and assured by explaining the procedure beforehand. Instead using crystals to exfoliate the skin, at hydrohealing they used a combination of oxygen and water particles to do the job, this has the same great effect but is alot gentler on the skin. I came out 60 minutes later with my skin feeling firmer and looking alot more radiant. I thoroughly recommend this place for anyone wanting to give their skin a boost after winter!
Hydrohealing is definitely worth a mention to everyone! After reading about the hydrodermabrasion facial treatment in various magazines lately, I decided to check it out for myself and see what all the fuss is about. Having sensitive skin I was apprehensive at first that I might walk out looking like a tomato but let me tell u. The results were absolutely amazing! My skin hasn’t felt this smooth or looked this radiant in ages! Definitely worth a visit!
