Idea Books Pop Up Shop

Bibliophiles with a penchant for art, design and fashion can get their fill of unusual titles at the Idea Books pop up shop, which is open again for just five weeks after its first successful season last year.

A selection of designer books and magazines have been hand selected by Angela Hill to feature in the Idea Books pop up shop, which will be temporarily housed in the Front Room of St Martins Lane. Ranging from £10 to £5,000, the designer books and magazines for sale in the pop up book shop include one off and unique titles covering fashion, design, photography, music and film.

Unique titles
Specialist books and magazines featured at the Idea Books pop up shop include fashion titles such as Avant Mode, 19 and Ritz, and quirky craft books such as Housebuilding for Children, The Canoe Book and Underground Interiors. Those on the hunt for photography books and publications on experimental architecture are also likely to find something to catch their interest.

New for 2010
The pop up shop first opened over the summer of 2009, and proved so popular that it's opening once again in early 2010. This time around, you can pick up everything from classics from Irving Penn, Bruce Weber and Richard Avedon, as well as Martin Parr's first book, Bad Weather. There's a strong 1990s theme running throughout the stock, and there will also be some unusual Valentine's ideas such as vintage Snoopy books from £15.00.

The Idea Books pop up shop is open from Friday 22nd January - Saturday 27th February 2010. Opening hours are 11am - 7pm daily.
