On Saturday, I was dragged along to meet my wife's fellow JAIMS the were all educated, and cultured, but hadn't thought that on a Sat the West End is a wee bit packed, a quick scan online for a medium size restaurant in Soho, as I refuse to eat in Covent Garden, for a place that wasn't going to break the bank for 6 people, a quick call and booked thank god as just over an hour later when we arrived we walked past the queue and was immediately seated, smug factor 6.

Orders and food were quick and apart from one dishes (Samosa) all the others were thumbs up, and the bill was less than £20 per head result!

Rather good Indian food in Soho, enjoyed the atmosphere and also it was cheap and cheerful. Good place!

Would not recommend this restaurant! Went there last Friday evening, as the idea of Indian Tapas appealed to me. But it turned out to be a big disappointment. Food was very average, nothing exciting; to be honest the average curry man around the corner makes better dishes. The atmosphere and interior in there was pretty horrible, feels like sitting upstairs in McDonald's. Not appropriate for the sort of restaurant Imlis is pretending to be on their website and the prices they charge. Other than the overpriced drinks the cost for a tapas is about the same as a normal dish in a curry house - so might as well go there and get a proper portion.

I couldn't disagree more, I had a lunch at the weekend, and idea of tapas for Indian is excellent as was the food, as for the cost it was cheap, service was great. I look forward to going again in the new year

Dined here last Friday and have to say was very impressed.

Wasn't sure about the small (tapas-style) plates of Indian food at first but was won over by a delicious chef's tasting menu.

Highlights: fried fish, lamb in a pretty hot and sour sauce, cauliflower bhaji.

Also special mention to the staff, they were some of the nicest, most professional and good natured staff I've ever come across in a central London restaurant - and it was very busy.

Went here the other night with my husband and family. We'd heard about it from friends and were not disappointed. The tapas were great, particularly the mushroom tikki, and we all polished our plates off. Would definitely highly recommend it. Prices were very good too, accompanied by great service. Plenty of food to fill us up. My daughter enjoyed the banana pancakes. We'll be going back soon.
