Imperial War Museum
Since 1914, this museum has recorded all aspects of wars in which Britain and the Commonwealth have been involved. Extensive exhibits include tanks, planes and submarines. Film archives allow visitors to see and hear real wartime experiences, including a multi-sensory exhibit where you can feel the effects of being in a trench during the Blitz. The museum also offers special events and workshops during school holidays.
