Head to the seventh annual Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival for two days of cool jazz from around the world. Featuring the likes of the Soweto Kinch Quartet and gypsy punk act Mano de Dios, the festival is another high point in the calandar for fans of live music in London.

Live music
Starting on Thursday and continuing on Saturday, the Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival hosts a series of free live music concerts on the Mediterranean style Boulevard, where a number of restaurants and bars overlook the Thames. Relax by the river to music from the Brit Award nominated Carleen Anderson, or tap your feet to Indo-Jazz from the Arun Ghosh Quintet.

World class acts
As well as music from acclaimed vocalist Liane Carroll, the Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival also features performances from Robin Jones and King Salsa, as well as the Bombay Baja Brass Band. All of the performances are free to attend.

The Imperial Wharf Jazz Festival takes place from 6pm - 10pm on Thursday 15th September, and 1pm - 10pm on Saturday 17th September 2011. Admission is free.
