Innocent Village Fete

Innocent Village Fete

When

11am - 7pm, 2nd - 3rd August 2008

Where

Regents Park

It’s festival season and there’s no stone left unturned when it comes to celebrating. Not even juice. Celebrate the summer at the Innocent Village Fete.

Why you should go
Gutted that there’s not going to be a Fruitstock this year? Chin up, juice fans – innocent drinks are bringing the party to London again, but this time with a theme of a village fete. That’s right, innocent are going old school with a good old fashioned fete, complete with all the usual activities you know and love, plus plenty of smoothies.

Don’t miss
There’ll be everything that a proper village fete should have, albeit with a slightly hippie (and fruity) edge. Expect a tug o’ war, coconut shies, welly tossing, a tombola, a fancy dress competition and plenty of food, ale and cider. Kids will make a beeline for the arts and crafts activities, while the knitting tent is perfect for both grans and uber-hip craftsters.

And what’s a summer festival without music, you say? This year at the Innocent Village Fete performances come from bands and artists like The James Taylor Quartet, the Ukulele Orchestra, Christian Prommers Drumlesson, The Boy Least Likely, Son of Dave and The Wolf, making for an excellent day out. And 2008 sees even more amazing live acts at the Acoustic Bandstand. Totally family friendly and perfect for dancing your hearts out to.

Reminisce
Act like a big kid again at the Innocent Village Fete, where all sorts of age groups are welcomed. Expect loads of families and hundreds of hysterically happy kids, plus local London residents looking forward to sampling some good old fashioned fete fun – along with the smoothies.

Duck herding, dog agility, ferret racing, Morris dancing, funfair rides, a al fresco ballroom, a knitting tent and a fantastic farmer's market with stalls from Borough Marketare just the icing on the homemade cake stall.

The Innocent Village Fete takes place from 11am – 7pm on 2nd and 3rd August 2008 at Gloucester Green, Regents Park.

Tickets are £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children aged 4 – 15. If you would like to book tickets for the Innocent Villages Fete, please click on the link below for more information.
