Supersized screen
Head to a screening of Iron Man 2 at IMAX and you'll be treated to a high action adventure as Robert Downey Jr reprises his role as Tony Stark, also known as the armoured superhero, Iron Man. Also back is Gwyneth Paltrow as his trusted assistant Pepper Potts, and Don Cheadle as best friend James Rhodes.

The story
As well as all the well known faces from the first film, the screenings of Iron Man 2 at IMAX also feature Scarlett Johannson, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke and Samuel Jackson. The film follows Iron Man and millionaire Tony Stark as he comes into conflict with the United States Government and battles a dangerous enemy in the form of Ivan Vanko and his alter ego Whiplash.

Comic book characters

The new film has been digitally remastered to appear at the state of the art BFI IMAX cinema, which has the largest screen in Britain. To meet tickets demand, the cinema will also be hosting a number of midnight shows for night owls and dedicated movie buffs.
