As part of the Jack the Ripper and the East End exhibition at Museum in Docklands, a series Jack the Ripper events are taking place alongside the grisly show. A chance to delve deeper in the mysterious murders of the 19th century, hear the stories of the women that the ripper killed and see if you can shed more light on who Jack the Ripper actually was, the events at the Museum are a fascinating addition to the exhibition on the much loved and notorious murderer.

Kicking off on Saturday 17th May with a special talk, you can join three leading authorities on Jack the Ripper and help them discuss his identity. Over the following weeks you can follow a guided walk around the Whitechapel area where the murders took place, learn more about Victorian East London in general, discuss whether you think the Ripper would be caught today, and take part in a good old fashioned Cockney style knees up.
