Jameson Live

Jameson Live is back once again for a full on St Patricks Day celebration and for 2008 the Cobden Club is the place to go. With three fantastic live bands on stage and an atmosphere not to be bested outside of Ireland itself, Jameson Live is the only way to experience St Patricks Day in London.

The free and seriously intimate gig is part of the Jameson Live series which sees more gigs played up and down the country at fabulous locations. Having wowed the crowds in Manchester, the Irish themed music night comes to the Cobden Club to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland.

Joining the Jameson Live London lineup on 17th March are three of the country's top bands, The Coral, The Aliens, and Florence and the Machine. The Coral hail from Liverpool and are renowned as being one of the most diverse bands around. Playing an eclectic mix of rock, country, psychedelia and folk music, the band will be on great form for the St Patricks Day gig.

Also heading up the Jameson Live gig are The Aliens, whose music has been behind some of the most enthralling music of the last few years, with band members having been included in the Beta Band and Lone Pigeon. Florence and the Machine is a band set to hit the bigtime in 2008 with their funky mix of Motown, pop, folk, blues and soul.

Some tickets for the Jameson Live London gig will be available on the door.
