My friend and I had a private dance lesson with Honor and couldn't rate them highly enough, a lovely and fun filled experience and alot achieved in the lesson. Honor was patient, encouraging and made us feel so at ease. As per previous comments on this page no we didn't see Karen but to be honest didn't expect to, her staff are a credit to her and we couldn't have had a better day.

The facilities are truly amazing and despite Karen not being there that often, (but, just to add, Karen DOES actually come in, she teaches her competitive students there. Those couples are amazing!!! Karen has a smile for everyone, though not always her students she is coaching :-)you can see her influence everywhere. The reception has amazing crystal chandeliers and divine sofas and the staff are so friendly.I have to pay for my lessons in advance which seems expensive, but when you break down the average they are about the same as a personal trainer. Also, these are NOT large group classes - this is private tuition in a beautiful surroundings. This isn't just a town hall, or church hall. The attention to detail makes for a great escape from work. I get a personal dance plan that means I always know where I am at and have a clear goal to work to.I look forward to my lessons with Ryan and Ian every week, and look forward to a cheeky glass of wine in the bar afterwards :-)

Hello kickboxchamp,

I work for Karen Hardy Studios and I was very sorry to see you’ve been unhappy. I wanted to leave a message in the hope I can answer some of the points you’ve raised. You’re also welcome to contact the studio directly with any feedback or questions you may have.

You mentioned that you’ve not seen Karen at the studio. Unfortunately Karen isn’t always able to take on any new students due to her busy schedule and the various commitments expected by a dance professional of her calibre. Additionally Karen isn’t always at the studio as she is in demand working overseas Coaching World Class competitors. Karen’s reason for opening the Studio was to create something very special for London, the first Five Star Dance establishment in the UK –we are still the only studio to hold this title. Although Karen isn’t able to attend all of the dance sessions, she has personally worked with and trained all of the dance instructors to ensure they are of the highest standards. Her touch can be seen and felt everywhere with the quality of the décor and Studio environment.

All of our clients are of different standards and capabilities, and our prices are based on the bespoke packages we create especially for each individual during their complimentary ‘Taster’ session, given freely before joining. We don’t run “bulk classes”, we deliver a much more personalised service ensuring more focussed teaching. Because the prices are unique to each person’s needs, it isn’t possible for us to show set rates on our website as these would be incorrect. All prices that are quoted to each individual client are in accordance with their personal tuition programme, high standard of teaching and service which they receive at our Studios, in addition to the luxury of our surroundings and location.
