Maze film
Part of the I Remember You exhibition by Stuart Pearson Wright, the Keira Knightley film installation at Riflemaker Gallery marks a dramatic change from Pirates of the Caribbean, Pride and Prejudice and other high budget movies the actress has starred in. Titled Maze, the short film will be shown on a double screen at the Soho gallery.

Elizabethan courtiers
Set in a large maze, the Keira Knightley film installation follows the attempts of two Elizabethan courtiers, played by Knightley and artist Stuart Pearson Wright, as they attempt to find each other. Each can hear the other's cries but ultimately the lovers fail to reunite, in a work that is intended to serve as a metaphor for the breakdown of a relationship.

Art exhibition
The Maze Keira Knightley film installation is part of a larger exhibition of work by Stuart Pearson Wright, which explores the themes of identity and loss and examines both male and female stereotypes. The exhibition also features paintings of cowboys and other figures associated with the mythology of the American West.

The Keira Knightley film installation can be seen at the I Remember You exhibition at Riflemaker Gallery, from Wednesday 5th May - Saturday 26th June 2010.

Gallery opening times are 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday, and 12pm - 6pm Saturday. Admission is free.
