The museum is housed in a magnificent 19th-century pumping station and contains the largest working beam engine in the world. Visitors can also see a unique range of more modern pumping equipment. The Water For Life Gallery tells the story of London's water supply and usage from the days of the Romans. Special events take place throughout the year.
