Giving families the chance to enjoy a day out together without spending a small fortune, the Rex Whistler Restaurant is letting kids eat for free at Tate Britain over the spring.

Valid for children under the age of 12 who are accompanied by an adult who buys a main course and a dessert from the a la carte menu, the kids eat for free at Tate Britain offer runs throughout the Easter holidays and first May bank holiday. Children can choose from a menu which includes healthy and popular options such as tomato and cucumber salad, garlic bread, home made fish fingers, penne pasta with tomato and basil sauce, and fresh fruit skewers with chocolate dip.

Also taking place alongside the kids eat for free menu at Tate Britain special offer are a number of gallery activities and art exhibitions. There's the Henry Moore sculpture exhibition, as well as the colourful paintings in the Chris Ofili show.
