Whats On
Kids Week 2009 returns for the 12th consecutive year, with free theatre shows, discount tickets and interactive fun for kids. Children of all ages can enjoy a variety of theatre shows during Kids Week London, as well as special events, activities and workshops.

Free theatre in Kids Week 2009
During Kids Week one child aged between 5 and 16 can go free to any participating theatre show when accompanied by a paying adult, whilst two more children can go for half price. Families have a unique opportunity to enjoy discount West End theatre in a huge theatre event, featuring a variety of hit West End productions.

Hit West End Shows
A spectacular line up of shows will be featured in Kids Week London, with plenty for children and family audiences to enjoy. Highlights include Wicked, Hairspray, and Sister Act, with free and discount tickets available for young theatregoers.

Interactive fun for kids
In addition to free trips to the theatre, Kids Week London includes a full programme of activities and workshops for children. Kids can get theatrical in a series of interactive events, giving them the chance to learn about life on stage. Workshops include acting, singing and dancing for budding performers, as well as script writing, set design and directing. Last year, the under 5s could join in the fun too with special multi-sensory workshops at the Theatre Museum; check back soon to see exactly what's on offer for 2009.

Gear up for Kids Week 2009
A number of events will be taking place ahead of Kids Week, allowing young Londoners to enjoy live theatre in the heart of the West End. West End Live is a massive free theatre showcase taking place in June, where visitors can see live performances from top current productions. Meanwhile Rhythm of London, taking place in July, will bring a wealth of free music events to the streets of the capital, allowing children and adults to get groovy for the summer.
