Kids Week 2011 returns for the 14th consecutive year with free theatre shows, discount tickets and interactive fun for kids. Children of all ages can enjoy a variety of theatre shows during Kids Week in London, as well as special events, activities and workshops.

Free theatre in Kids Week 2011
During Kids Week one child aged between 5 and 16 can go free to any participating theatre show when accompanied by a paying adult, whilst two more children can go for half price. Families have a unique opportunity to enjoy discount West End theatre in a huge theatre event, featuring a variety of hit West End productions.

Hit West End Shows
A spectacular line up of shows feature in Kids Week London, with plenty for children and family audiences to enjoy. Highlights include Wicked, The Railway Children and Shrek the Musical, with young theatregoers able to access free and discount tickets for over 30 shows.

Interactive fun for kids
In addition to free trips to the theatre, Kids Week London includes a full programme of activities and workshops for children. Kids can get theatrical in a series of interactive events, giving them the chance to learn about life on stage. Workshops include acting, singing and dancing for budding performers, as well as script writing, set design and directing. Children can learn dance routines, take part in a puppet workshop and even get a backstage insight into how production team create West End hits.

Take part in Kids Week 2011
A number of events tied to the shows featured in Kids Week are also being held, allowing young Londoners to interact with live theatre in the heart of the West End. Take part in a singing competition, make some noise with some percussive instruments, enjoy dance workshops, Q&A sessions and puppet workshops too.

Kids Week 2011 takes place for two weeks, from Friday 12th August – Friday 26th August 2011. Workshops and activities will also be held at the Theatre Museum.
