The Kids Week London theatre event is back for summer 2011! For a whole two weeks of the summer holidays, kids can take part in some great theatrical activities, see theatre shows for free and generally have a great time.

Theatrical fun
Kids Week 2011 is a fabulous chance to get your little prima donnas and your mini Pavarottis out into the theatre and enjoying all the free and fun events on offer.

Summer holiday fun
Running during the school summer holidays, Kids Week 2011 is a chance to get great access to the theatres in London. Celebrating their 14th birthday this year, the initiative gives one child the chance to go to a vast range of theatre shows for free, when accompanied by a paying adult. With two more kids able to go for half price, the event is a brilliant way to keep children entertained during the school holidays and a chance for a great family day out in the city.

Kids theatre shows
With a huge long list of shows to choose from, the only difficulty with Kids Week 2011 is choosing which theatres to go to and which activities to take part in. Wicked, The Railway Children, and The Wizard of Oz are just some of the great shows to be seen, along with a host of other productions guaranteed to bring your kids even more theatrical fun.

Activities for kids
And if your kids have been inspired by the great theatre they have seen, why not see if you can get them on the stage too? Workshops planned for 2011 include dancing sessions, puppet workshops and the opportunity to sing your heart out.

Singing and dancing for all
The theatre festival has something to grab every child's attention, with the chance to learn some of the songs from some of the best loved musicals around, take part in workshops and get to grips with a number of dance routines.
