Visit the third annual kinetic art fair London event for a taste of innovative technology led art and creative design. Held in the expansive Ambika P3 art space housed in the former concrete construction hall at the University of Westminster's School of Engineering, the Kinetica Art Fair showcases cutting edge kinetic, robotic, light, sound and time based art.

Kinetic art fair London
With contributions from over 35 galleries and 150 artists, the kinetic art fair London event in the P3 exhibition space promises an eclectic mix of ground breaking contemporary art. Among the work on display are sculptures made from material used by NASA to collect star dust, and moving mechanical skeletons along with many other robotic installations and immersive experiences.

Highlights
Highlights of the 2011 fair include Christiaan Zwanikken’s techno-animal figures which come to life in a futuristic zoo, light sculptures that appear to defy the walls of space and a life sized interactive flight simulator. This year the imaginative and successful fusion of art and science is encompassed in work by Jim Bond, whose fragmented 3D bodies disintegrate, explode and reconstitute themselves to reflect the fragility of the human condition, and you can be sure of plenty more ground breaking and astonishing art works for 2011.

Robotics galore
Keeping up with the theme of moving art which seems to have a life of its own, the Kinetica Art Fair also features a number of robotic installations and animatronic kinetic art, including contributions from Tim Lewis and his man-animal hybrids and Kinetica Museum. Featuring several special talks and performance events, the kinetic art fair London show is another exciting addition to the London arts calendar for 2011.

The opening times for the kinetic art fair London event are as follows:
Friday 4th February: 10am - 8pm
Saturday 5th February: 10am - 9pm
Sunday 6th February: 11am - 6pm
